Rishan Haldar achieves first rank globally in International English Olympiad


 

Lucknow, 14 November : Rishan Haldar, a class 3 student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus brought laurels to the city by achieving first rank globally in the International English Olympiad. This Olympiad was organised under the aegis of Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi, wherein students of several countries participated.  Amidst a tough competition, Rishan exhibited his talent and proficiency in English language and won the first prize. He was awarded with a gold medal and a certificate for his outstanding achievement.  CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Rishan and expressed his gratitude to the Principal and teachers of his school.

              CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that CMS is striving to make its students proficient in English besides teaching them their mother tongue Hindi. Also realising the importance of this scientific age, the school is preparing its students to develop a global vision so that they are ready for this modern age. It is because of this that CMS students are making their mark in various competitions at national and international level.
