Aarna of CMS wins First Prize in National Yoga Competition

Lucknow, October 14: Aarna Om Singh, a talented student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, has brought laurels to the institution by winning the first prize in the National Yoga Competition held in Jharkhand. The competition was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), where Aarna secured the first prize in the Under-14 Girls Individual Rhythmic category, showcasing her exceptional yoga skills. For this achievement, Aarna was also awarded the title of 'Best Yoga Girl.' CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, expressed her happiness over Aarna’s achievement and wished her a bright future ahead. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communication Department of CMS. Mr. Khanna informed that the selected students from various prestigious schools across the country participated in this competition. Despite the tough competition, Aarna showcased her proficiency in various yogas, yogic techniques and physical abilities, proving that she is ready to make the country proud at the international level in the near future.

               Mr. Khanna added that CMS always encourages its students to excel in different fields according to their interests, which is why CMS students continue to bring pride to the school by achieving success in various national and international competitions, in addition to their academic accomplishments.
