Encourage the new generation to develop a positive outlook in life — Shri Alok Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Planning Dept., UP


 

Lucknow, 27 August : City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I organized its 'Annual Parents Day' at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium with much pomp and show. Chief Guest, Shri Alok Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Planning Dept., UP, ceremoniously inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the large gathering of parents on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Shri Alok Kumar, IAS, called upon the parents and teachers to develop positive thinking and attitude in young minds and encourage them to innovate the society. He further stated that the children who grow up in the atmosphere of discipline and culture will be able to guide the society.

            Earlier, the function began with 'All Religion and World Peace Prayer' spreading the message of World Peace and Divine Unity. On this occasion, students in colourful dresses won the hearts of their loved ones with educational-cultural items presented merrily. A number of educational-cultural items like Qawwali 'Mera Jahan', Dance-drama 'Matra Bhoomi Naman', Western choir 'Shine Bright to the World', Mothers song, Drill and many more mesmerized the audience and they were all praises to the wonderful presentations of children. CMS students drew attention of the audience through the powerful presentation of mock 'World Parliament' based on Vision 2025. This function was not only the symbol of a healthy entertainment but it also showed that education can bring social changes and the children who learn values and refinement will definitely lay the foundation of a happy and prosperous society.

            Addressing the gathering of parents on this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that we must inculcate values and culture in students from their childhood. This function dedicated to parents makes it clear that parents and guardians have distinct role in making society a better place to live because they can cultivate values of morality and divinity in children. Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant said that we aim at developing students' positive thinking and channelizing their energy towards social uplift. Expressing gratitude towards parents, she congratulated the teachers and students for wonderful performance.
