US University offers US$ 1,06,000 scholarship to CMS student
Lucknow, June 2 :
Hofstra University, New York, USA, has
offered US$ 1,06,000 scholarship to Shagun Shukla, a student of City Montessori
School, RDSO Campus I for pursuing higher education. This scholarship will be
provided to him during the four-year undergraduate course. California
University of Pennsylvania and Bridgewater State University of USA have also
offered admission to Shagun with scholarship. This information has come from
Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed
that Shagun has credited this success to his teachers at CMS and the
educational environment in school. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated
this meritorious student and wished him success in his future endeavours. It is worth mentioning here that CMS is
the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh,
which enables students of UP and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies
in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr Sharma added that each year, a large number of CMS
students are offered admission in top universities of the world. This year,
till now, over 90 CMS students have secured admissions with handsome
scholarships in some of the best universities of the USA, UK, Canada,
Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany like Cambridge University, California
Institute of Technology (CalTech), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),
Stanford University, Cornell University, Melbourne University, National
University of Singapore etc.
