9 CMS students awarded scholarship of Rupees 41 lakh by Govt. of India


 

Lucknow, 27 June : Nine outstanding students of City Montessori School have been selected for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY Fellowship) of the Government of India bringing fame to the city on national arena. All these meritorious students will be getting a total of Rs. 41,76,000/- (Fourty one lakh seventy six thousand rupees) as scholarship during their higher studies course of five years, by the Govt. of India. that the meritorious CMS students, who have been awarded KYPY fellowship comprised Saharsh Saxena, Videh Jha, Aditya Jaiswal, Aryashi Tripathi, Devansh Bansal, Kanishk, Kumar yashavi, Naman Mishra and Rohan chaturvedi. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi while expressing happiness on this success of CMS students wished them a very bright future ahead. He also expressed heartist gratitude to the CMS teachers and Principals.

            that these CMS students would be receiving the scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month and Rs. 20,000/- as annual contingency grant during the 1st to 3rd year of graduation. At M.Sc. level course of two years, they would be getting monthly stipend of Rs. 7000/- per month and annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000/-. Thus each student will be getting scholarship of Rs. 4,64,000/- during five years of higher education, totalling Rs. 41,76,000 for all the nine students. The students chosen under this fellowship, can avail the facility of famous national laboratory, university and library in any part of India for free, by showing their ID cards.
