CMS student team wins Taekwondo championship

Lucknow, 1 June : Student team of City Montessori School showcased it's sporting talent by winning the overall championship of Taekwondo competition. CMS student team won 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in the 15th state Taekwando-Poomse & Kyorugi championship and won the overall championship. This information was given by Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS. Shri Sharma informed that the students who won the gold medal at this championship  comprise Ojas Srivastava , Vanya Rastogi , Anurag,  Abdullah Mohsin , Wajih and Anjali  while Silver medals  were bagged by Hamza Siddiqui, Abdul Malik khan , Shivansh Yadav , Harshita, Abbas Naqvi, Pranav Saxena , Hussain  and Anushka. Similarly, Bronze  medal winners were Raunak, Aditya and  Ashraf. Thus, CMS team won the overall championship by bagging the maximum number of medals. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished very bright future to these talented students.

            Shri Sharma informed that the students from various reputed schools participated in this championship, however, in the midst of a tough competition, CMS students secured overall championship with an extraordinary display of their sporting talent. Shri Sharma further said that CMS students are not just excelling in academics but are also bringing fame to the institution in sports and other social activities at the national and international levels. This is because CMS is actively engaged in not just their intellectual development but is also preparing them for sports and other social activities.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
