After 2 year COVID break, fun & games return to summer camps in CMS

Lucknow, May 23: The free-of-cost annual summer camps, being organized after a 2 year break caused by the pandemic, have brought back much joy and learning for CMS students. All CMS campuses have organized summer camps with a view to nurture the creative talents of the students and make the best use of their summer vacations. Students are immensely enjoying various activities and sports like cricket, football, swimming, skating, judo, aerobics and are learning dance, music, painting etc.

             Parents are happy that children will get a chance to unwind and learn something new during the summer camps. “As children were stuck at home for close to two years, their social skills were affected. At the summer camps, they will not only get a feel of normalcy, but it will also boost their confidence and talents”, said the parent of a class VI student.

             Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran, Senior Principal, Kanpur Road campus said that the aim of these summer camps is to engage the students during the holidays through various educational activities as per their interest, maintain their physical fitness and enhance their abilities in fun ways.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
