CMS team wins boxing championship


 

Lucknow, 16 September : City Montessori School, Station Road team of students grabbed the Under-17 girls' championship trophy and Under-19 girls' championship trophy in a regional boxing competition and elevated the school flag high. The boxing contest was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) in which CMS students bagged six golds, four silvers, and six bronze medals to grab the under-17 and under-19 championship trophies. The six gold medal winners comprised Aadharika, Rafat Abbasi, Zara Niyaj, Jyoti Yadav, Siddhi Mishra, and Ananya Singh. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed these skilled students for a bright future ahead. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that the students of various schools across Lucknow participated in this contest among them, these ace student players of CMS outpaced them with their prowess and better technique and stood champion in both the under-17 and under-10 categories.

               Mr Sharma informed that CMS not only prepares its students for academic excellence, it also prepares them for games and other social fields. Therefore, CMS students are raising the school flag high in academics and sports nationally and internationally.
