with this deadly pandemic corona and strictly follow the lockdown to defeat it
completely. Only the combined efforts of all the people of Uttar Pradesh will
remove this pandemic because disease can affect anyone from any caste or religion. Since it's a trying period, we all
must set our religious differences aside, get united and vow to eradicate the
roots of this pandemic with cooperation.
Dr Gandhi, in
his message especially appealed to the
students to stay safe by staying at home and study online through E-learning.
He suggested to students to follow a disciplined daily routine and besides
study they must play indoor games and do yoga to be fit and healthy. Moreover,
youth and adolescents should increase their social interest so that they can be
helpful to society with their creative energy.
Dr Gandhi further
stated that in times of lockdown due to the Corona pandemic, City Montessori
School is making optimum use of online technology to ensure that education of
students does not suffer even though schools have been closed for a long period
now. CMS has switched to online learning
using Google Classrooms, Google Hangouts, etc., through which teachers post
lessons and assignments for the students and take online classes in every
subject. This is done according to a set timetable in which students join
online lessons at pre-arranged timings. CMS has partnered with Google Apps for
Education, Khan Academy, Tata ClassEdge, and other providers to share
educational resources, give a better understanding of concepts, and share
content live with students through video conferencing tools.
CMS is pioneer in
doing its social services and it has contributed for the corona victims as
well. CMS has contributed Rs 1,90,00,000 (One Crore Ninety Lakh Rupees) for the
corona victims besides providing school buses as per need and contributed
nearly 10,000 kilograms food items for the community kitchen of the state
government to feed the poor and needy people hit by countrywide lockdown. He
called upon the people of the state to come forward and cooperate with the
government in combating the deadly corona virus by following the state
guidelines strictly and also by helping
the poor and needy in their locality in whichever way they can.
